MAGPIS: Tables and Catalogs from 2006 AJ Paper
Tables and catalogs from Helfand, Becker, White, Fallon & Tuttle (2006) "MAGPIS:
A Multi-Array Galactic Plane Imaging Survey", AJ, 131, 2525
The principal data products from the paper are:
- Table 2: Catalog of Discrete Sources
The discrete source catalog
lists compact sources. Many of these sources are extragalactic,
but they include a component of Galactic sources most readily
identified through their infrared emission and their strong
concentration toward the Galactic plane. Fluxes from the MSX IR
catalog at 8µm and 21µm are included in the table.

- Table 3: Catalog of Diffuse Emission Regions
The diffuse source atlas lists
the large extended radio sources (mainly H II regions and
supernova remnants) that dominate the survey. The
HTML version includes
active links to the radio images.

- Table 4: High-Probability Supernova Remnant Candidates
This table lists objects from the diffuse source atlas that are
likely to be newly discovered supernova remnants
based on their weak IR emission and strong 90~cm radio emission.
